The Wild Things continue to add to their roster, as they ink deals with RHP Andrew Woeck, RHP Tyler Bolton and C Kyle Pollock.

Woeck joins Washington following his stint with the Tampa Bay Rays. In 2015, Woeck posted 4.29 ERA while striking out 24 batters in 21 innings. Woeck showcased his versatility between the Gulf Coast League, Appalachian League and Florida State league, something that Wild Things manager Gregg Langbehn emphasized, "Thrilled to get him and to see him compete. He has the ability to give us quality innings in a variety of roles.". Woeck was drafted by Tampa Bay in the 31st round of the 2014 draft following an illustrious career with the North Carolina State. The Washington state native posted a 9-2 record with the Wolfpack, while striking out 86 and only walking 19 in nearly 76 innings.

The 6'4 righty, Tyler Bolton, looks to add starting experience to the Wild Things roster. Following a strong junior campaign with the ECU Pirates, Bolton was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 33rd round of the 2014 draft. Bolton was a workhouse in the 2014 season, making 13 starts and throwing 70+ innings with the Pirates, then shouldering another 12 starts and racking up another 70+ innings with the Missoula Ospreys from June to September. Manage Gregg Langbehn noted on Tyler further, "We expect Bolton to come in and compete for a spot in our rotation. He certainly has the ability to go deep into games and be a guy we can lean on for quality starts". In 2015, Bolton continued his career with the Arizona Diamondbacks, alongside former Wild Thing starter Troy Marks, in Hillsboro. The Wake Forest native posted a 3.89 ERA over a 15 start campaign, striking out 56 batters in over 80 innings.

Kyle Pollock, a Clinton, Ohio native, joins the Washington roster as an experienced catcher following 2 proud seasons with the recent World Series Champion, Kansas City Royals. Over those 2 seasons, Pollock hit .274 while smacking 26 doubles, 6 HRs and 50 RBI. Pollock was no slouch behind the plate either, throwing out 24 runners, nearly one-third of intended base stealers. The 6" 215 pound backstop shined in 2014 with the University of Evansville, hitting .310 and driving in 50 runs in 55 games. In June, the Royals came calling, selecting Kyle in the 20th round. "We are excited to add Kyle to our roster and we expect him to come in to be an everyday addition to our ball club. His experience is an asset we certainly value", Gregg Langbehn stated.

The Wild Things will open their 15th season of Frontier League Baseball in May. The home opener is scheduled for Friday, May 20th. Season and Group packages are available at the CONSOL Energy Park Box Office. 724-250-9555
