Chris Young to Play CONSOL Energy Park Thursday, August 25, 2016

PITTSBURGH, PA – On Thursday, August 25th, country music superstar Chris Young and a special guest will be performing at CONSOL Energy Park as a part of his “I’m Comin’ Over Tour.” The CONSOL Energy Park doors will open at 6pm, while the concert will begin at 6:30pm.

Tickets to the show will go on sale Monday, May 9th at 10am. In addition, an exclusive pre-sale for Chris Young Fan Club Member will begin on Friday, May 7th at 10am. All tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or at the CONSOL Energy Park box office.

Tennessee native Chris Young is currently one of the highest selling country music artists. Part of his popularity is his easily identifiable voice, which often projects his resounding and soothing baritone.

Chris Young entered stardom when he was declared the winner of “Nashville Star,” a talent competition, in 2006. Young has since released five albums including his most recent, “I’m Comin’ Over.”

Young has been a mainstay in the country music scene since his rise in 2006. He has won multiple awards including two American Country Awards in 2011 (Breakthrough Artist of the Year & Single of the Year).

At the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards, Young was nominated for Album of the Year, as well as Single Record of the Year for, “I’m Comin’ Over.”

Philanthropy is a huge part of Chris Young’s life as he donates and shows support for various charitable organizations including, Little Kids Rock, Stars and Stripes and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
