Wild Things' Promo Schedule, a Big Hit

The Washington Wild Things kick off their 15th year of Frontier League Baseball on Friday, May 19th but today we unveil our promotional schedule for the upcoming season. With a full schedule of promotions, fans should plan on making many memories at the ballpark with the Tri-State’s premier Minor League team. Starting Monday, March 20th individual game tickets will go on sale! Mark your calendars and reserve your seats closest to the action.

“Of course some of the fan favorites will remain intact for our #Celebrate15 season.” said Wild Things’ General Manager Steven Zavacky. “We also have added a few new aspects to our weekly promotions, which should increase the overall fan experience at the ballpark.”

As a daily promotion, the Wild Things are introducing their first ever Happy Half-Hour. Fans are encouraged to arrive to the ballpark early, as Domestic Drafts will be 50% off for 30 minutes after gates open. Take advantage of these 24 ounce Domestic Drafts for only $3 before Happy Half-Hour ends! Additionally, families will be able to take advantage of our Family 4 Pack on a daily basis. This package must be purchased prior to day of game and includes; 4 reserved tickets, 4 hotdogs and 4 small sodas for only $44.

Our four-legged friends will be the focus of our two scheduled Tuesday games, as we invite dogs and their owners to enjoy America’s Pastime together on June 27th and August 22nd. Every Wednesday, the PA Lottery will select a lucky family or group of four in the ballpark to win special prize packs. Plus, senior citizens (55+) can join our Silver Sluggers Club to take advantage of a special Wednesday ticket package and a collection of club benefits. As the Wild Things #Celebrate15 this year, Thursdays will be of the Throwback variety. The team will don throwback jerseys that will be designed to pay homage to original 2002 Wild Things. Additionally, Thirsty Thursday drink specials of $2 Domestic Draft pints will accompany the throwback look. Every Friday will be a special one with the Wild Things, as Free T-Shirts and Fireworks headline the night. Arrive early to be 1 of the first 500 fans in the park to walk away with custom designed Wild Things shirt and stick around for a postgame Firework Show. T-Shirt designs will change every Friday, so mark your calendar for the 9 dates. Select Saturdays will provide the first 1000 fans in the ballpark with unique Giveaway items. Be sure to follow our Facebook page to see these giveaways and when they will be handed out before anyone else. Sundays will be full of fun for Kids Club members and families! Post-game kids Run the Bases and enjoy an Autograph Session with the entire team.

Specialty Nights are nothing new to Washington, but here are a few of our unique dates we look to celebrate;

June 3rd: Scout Night- The ballpark packed with nearly 1000 Boys Scouts, and we pledge you will have a blast!

June 15th: Education Night: Teachers are provided a FREE ticket and appreciated for all their hard work.

June 17th: Yoga Night Presented by Sri Yantra Yoga

June 18th: Domestic Violence Awareness Night Presented by Precision Marshall.

July 7th: Military Night- Current and former Military members are encouraged to celebrate with a FREE night of baseball with us.

July 9th: Faith Night (special appearance by MLB star and former Pittsburgh Pirate Sid Bream).

July 15th: Breast Cancer Awareness Night Presented by Mylan (including custom jersey auction).

August 4th: Autism Awareness Night- Benefitting the Autism Society of Pittsburgh.

August 10th: Wrestling Night (special appearance by former WWE star Billy Gunn).

August 20th-31st: Back to School Week- Before you get back to the classroom, enjoy a FREE student ticket.
