Wild Things and Entercom Announce Y108's "Red Dirt Revival Concert Series"

WASHINGTON, Pa. (March 15, 2018) – Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States, and its Pittsburgh country music station Y108 are excited to announce the “Red Dirt Revival Concert Series,” a string of five live monthly music events beginning in May. The concerts, which will go until September, are an extension of the station’s recently announced “Red Dirt Revival” radio show, which air Sunday evenings from 9 p.m. ET to midnight on WDSY-FM (107.9). Y108, Lord & Thorn Publishing and Wild Things Park have partnered to produce the events.

“As the nation’s leaders in live, original, local audio content, we are pleased to bring Texas Country music stars to Pittsburgh this summer,” said Michael Young, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Pittsburgh. “We have received a tremendous interest in the genre since the launch of “Red Dirt Revival” radio and are excited to partner with Lord & Thorn Publishing and Wild Things Park to bring this event to life.”

Fans will be able to purchase tickets for each individual concert, starting Friday, March 16, at 9 a.m. on ticketmaster.com, exclusively. People who wish to attend all five concerts can purchase the entire series at a discounted rate. Tickets will NOT be sold at Wild Things Park until the day of the show.

May 19: Aaron Watson and Roger Creager. “Red Dirt Revival” host Jackson Gardner will open.

June 16: Pat Green to headline, supported by Dalton Domino and Kody West.

July 28: Jack Ingram and feature support Koe Wetzel. Local artist Todd Jones will open.

August 18: Ray Wylie Hubbard and Wade Bowen will co-headline. William Clark Green will also perform.

September 22: Academy of Country Music Award winner Eli Young Band to headline, with support from Shane Smith and The Saints. “Red Dirt Revival” host Jackson Gardner will open.
