Steven Zavacky enters his 18th season with the Wild Things in 2019.  Prior to taking on his current responsibilities, Steven was the Director of Operations and oversaw the maintenance of the stadium and field as well as running the Food and Beverage for all events at the facility.

Prior to moving to Washington, Steven worked as the Director of Parks and Recreation in his hometown of Bangor, Pennsylvania.  He and his wife, Kelly reside in Canonsburg.  Their son, Colin, is a youth counselor and resides in Tionesta, Pennsylvania.  The entire Zavacky family are Penn Stater’s and enjoy spending time in Happy Valley for football games and other events.  Steven also enjoys playing an occasional round of golf and traveling.  What’s left of his spare time is spent with family and friends.
